II General Description
Church consists of 15thc. W tower, a three bay nave, rebuilt in 1868, a 13thc. chancel rebuilt in 1854 and a S chapel off the chancel. The S doorway into the nave dates from c. 1200.

Pointed arch, one order.
Chamfered jambs are continuous into the arch. Imposts are chamfered with quirk on upright. Label is pointed with a lower chamfer. Completely white-washed.

VII History
The Doomsday Survey records that Durand Malet held the third part of a church in Linwood in 1086.
VIII Comments/Opinions
With the white-wash covering it is difficult to discern if this dates c. 1200 or is part of the 19thc. renovations.
