This highly restored church has a 12thc. W tower, dated 1661 on the parapet, an aisled nave, N transept, N porch and square-ended chancel.

2. Windows

The W tower has a twin bell opening on its S,W and N sides. The openings are paired under slightly pointed relieving arches. The central support of each opening, and the jambs of each relieving arch, are composed of en delit shafts with carved capitals with integral abaci.

The E and W capitals are carved with smooth, pointed leaves. The central capital, carved with long pointed leaves, has been replaced.

The N capital is carved with scallops and the S capital with smooth pointed leaves. The central capital is very worn.

The E and W capitals are carved with scallops, two on each face and one on the angle, and the central capital (now carved with spade-shaped leaves) has been replaced.

This arch is heavily whitewashed. The sides of the capitals are canted to match the chamfered responds. The S capital is multi-scalloped, and the N capital multi-fluted.

(i) S arcade

This four-bay arcade is heavily whitewashed. The E respond is fluted. The capital of pier 1 (E) is smooth to S and W, but has leaves with crockets to E and N. The capital of pier 2 is smooth to W and N, but there are isolated pieces of foliage on the SW, SE and NE angles. The capital of pier 3 (W) has scallops on its N and W faces, and crocket-like foliage on the corners. The multi-scalloped W respond is canted in the same manner as the tower capitals (above).
