1. Fonts
(i)
Tub-shaped, decorated above a plain flat band with arcading consisting of intersecting round-headed arches with simply indicated capitals, shafts and bases. Above the arcading, following an incised line, is a band of circular rosettes, each with eight fluted petals. This is followed by a roll around the rim of the font, severely damaged in parts. Of local red sandstone.
The font is cracked but is supported by iron straps. The round plinth and rectangular base are modern.

VII History
A plaque nearby states that the font was restored to the church in 1858. It had been removed when the previous church on the site was enlarged in 1733 and evidently 'lost' for a considerable time.
