Five orders, round headed, 5th order largely covered by later porch walls and vault.

Reconstructed tympanum carried on segmental arch, field of tympanum containing 1840s tablet recording dedication of 1150.

Set within salient (now partly obscured by mid-fifteenth century porch), the superstructure of which is weathered back below aisle cornice. Upper part of salient decorated with blind arcade of seven unmoulded arches carried on en-delit shafts with eroded cushion capitals.

1st order plain masonry with simple arris.

2nd, 3rd and 4th orders.

In arch face and soffit chevron.

Capitals cushions, with roll necking and plain abaci with quirk between two planes.

In jambs en-delit nook shafts of alternating circular and octagonal section, one on each side modern replacement.

Bases eroded and partly obscured by the raised pavement.
