The village of Toynton All Saints and its neighbours, Toynton St Peter and Toynton Fen side are in the East Lindsey district of the county, approximately 9Miles SE of Horncastle and 11 miles W of the coast at Skegness. Toynton All Saints is a long village extending for a mile from N to S with the church at its centre on the E side of the main street. It is medieval at its core but was encased in red brick in the 18thc and appears Georgian from the exterior. It consists of a W tower, a nave and chancel, to which a vestry was added in the 19thc. Nave aisles have been removed but the blocked arcades remain encased in plaster; four late-12thc bays of the N arcade and three 13thc bays of the S. The 12thc N nave arcade is the only feature described here.
