Wellingore is a village in the North Kesteven district of the county, 12 miles S of Lincoln. The church stands on the E side of Cliff Road, the main road running through the village, at its southern end. It is built of coursed limestone rubble and ashlar and is primarily a 14thc. church consisting of W tower, three-bay nave with a chapel at the E end of the N aisle, chancel, a S porch and a Perpendicular clerestory. The only 12thc features are the sedilia. A restoration of the entire church was carried out in 1878.
