Description

Large church consisting of chancel, nave, two N aisles, a S aisle, S porch and W tower. Galleries have been inserted into N and S aisles and the W end. Of local red sandstone. The font is the only Romanesque feature.

History

This font, which was originally from Over Whitacre (14km due East), was turned out when that church was rebuilt in the 18thc. It was recovered in 1856 and presented to Holy Trinity, Sutton Coldfield, in the same year.
