Description

The church consists of a Perpendicular nave, chancel, N aisle and W tower. The N aisle arcade is 12thc. The S doorway has reset 12thc. features.

History

The church is alleged to have been part of the original endowment of Henwood Priory and said to be appropriated to the priory of Markyate (Beds) in 1291. The church was conveyed to the diocese of Birmingham in 1919 from the Earl of Aylesford.
