The garden wall running along the N side of St Cross Back Street, on the N side of St Cross Hospital, Winchester, incorporates several reused worked stones. These include a mid-12thc. chevron voussoir.
See St Cross, Winchester.
Fragments in walls around the Hospital of St Cross probably originated from the hospital itself, but it is possible that some were reused from the parish church of St Faith, which stood to the N of the hospital until its demolition in the early 16thc.
