Description

The medieval church was rebuilt in brick in 1788 with nave, chancel and W tower; restored 1908 (Pevsner and Neave 1995, 674-5).

History

Geoffrey fitz Pain gave the church of Seaton Ross and land in the village called ‘Prestthwarth’ to the canons of Warter Priory, the gift of the church being confirmed c.1170-80 (Stapleton 1965).
