Description

Two fragments of a granite, ringed cross found in a field, which Crawford describes as the 'Church Field' (Crawford 1907, 218). There are no building remains.

Not known. Not included in Gwynn and Hadcock.

Comments/Opinions

Although the boss on the cross head appears to be plain, an earlier author identified this as having the remains of a carved head (Vigors 1892, 86). Vigors' report has a drawing of the cross head and base, included here. The drawing is not entirely accurate and omits the cross-ring.
