Comments/Opinions

The arcade capitals are the sole surviving sculptures in the church which may belong to the 12thc., but a drawing (NMR, unattributed and undated - possibly from Gentleman's Mag.) of a carved bowl or block (a mortar?), apparently early 12thc., is assigned to Wisborough Green. Local archaeological society does not know its whereabouts.
